TCG Card Shop Simulator Multiplayer: There Is None

TCG Card Shop Simulator 1.0 has no co-op and no online play. Every duel, trade and tournament rival is an NPC. Here is what the game ships instead.

Direct answer

No. TCG Card Shop Simulator has no co-op, no online play and no split screen in 1.0. The developer's own FAQ says Tetramon is built only to play against NPCs, with no multiplayer plans.

There is no multiplayer in TCG Card Shop Simulator. Not in 1.0, not in Early Access, and, per the developer’s own FAQ before launch, not in the near future. The confusion is easy to explain: the store page sells a shop that hosts card games, 1.0 added a fully playable TCG, and the game now sits on consoles, where a second controller is normally implied. It is still one person running one store.

What the developer actually said

The 1.0 Update FAQ answers the question in the developer’s own words: “Right now, it is only built for you to play against other NPCs. There are no plans for multiplayer in the near future.” The same post answers the porting question, “Currently, cross save between consoles and Steam is not available”, confirms saves carry over from 0.70, and states plainly that 1.0 is not the final update.

Only the rows marked as the developer’s are quotations or close paraphrases of an official post. The co-op and split screen rows are what we conclude from those posts, and the developer never uses either phrase.

The version history row is community-sourced, and it is the useful one: it lists “Customers trade cards” as a build 0.50 feature, which is why trading here means trading with NPCs.

What people are actually seeing

Three things get read as co-op.

Mods. The only community tools documented anywhere in the sources behind this page are save repair and content restoration. The stock order page warns that box spawns can soft lock a save and notes that “External tools such as save editors and mods have been made by the community to fix such soft locks”, and the mechanics page uses mod markers to flag items that can be re-enabled. Neither is a network feature. If a clip shows two players in one shop, treat it as unverified until the mod page names the game it loads.

Clones. Several card shop tycoon games do ship co-op, and their thumbnails pass in a search result. Check the title on the screenshot before you believe a feature list.

Console listings. The 1.0 announcement thanks General Arcade “for porting TCG Card Shop Simulator to all the console platforms”, and the developer says the game is “going 1.0 on Steam and launching on all console platforms”. A console page is not a co-op page. The Steam entry for appid 3070070 is $16.99, released Sep 14, 2026, Windows only, with mac and linux set to false, and it never mentions a second player.

What you can do with another human

Deck sharing is the one real social feature, and it is asynchronous. The official line: “You can easily share your deck by copying it and sending the output list to your friend.” The practical loop is to build a 50 card deck at the Workbench, copy the list out, send it, and both of you test it against the same NPC opponents in your own saves. The Workbench is also where the TCG rulebook lives, and it unlocks at shop level 7, which means neither deck editing nor the playable TCG is available at the start.

The duel itself is short by design. The announcement calls Tetramon “a quick 3-5 minutes match that you can play with any lone customer that is waiting at the play table, while the shop continues to operate”, started by approaching that table and pressing RMB or the gamepad right face button.

Tournaments follow the same rule. 1.0 added the ability to “join the tournament you hosted” and keep the prizes based on your ranking, which is you playing against the NPC entrants you invited. The event layer underneath is numbers, not people. Daily cost and unlock thresholds come from the wiki’s event table, the fee column from Fandom’s version of the same list.

FormatDaily costPlays to unlockFee per hour
Standard$00$7
Pauper$5050$8
Vintage Cup$200500$15
Holo Heaven$7005,000$45

Every seat at those tables is an NPC, and the shop itself is capped by a decompiled clamp between 3 and 28 concurrent customers. Two caveats on the table above: those wiki pages were last edited before 1.0, and the 1.0 changelog includes “Adjusted Tetramon card stats”, so older figures can drift from the live build.

If you came for the trading and collecting half of multiplayer, the pack odds calculator and the achievement list cover the parts of it this game does have, and the card grading guide explains the one system worth arguing about over a deck list.

Questions on this guide

Is there multiplayer in TCG Card Shop Simulator?

No. The 1.0 FAQ states Tetramon is built only to play against NPCs and that there are no plans for multiplayer in the near future.

Can I play Tetramon with a friend?

Not live. You can build a 50 card deck, copy the list from the Workbench and send it to a friend, then each of you duels NPCs.

Do console versions have cross save with Steam?

No. The FAQ states cross save between consoles and Steam is not available.

Are there co-op mods for the game?

Nothing in the sources used here documents a co-op or online mod. The mods the wiki does mention are save editors and content restorers.
